How to learn a language in 15 minutes a day

Daily short lesson plan with words, phrases and repetition.

Daily activities are easier to master through short, regular sessions. In this article, the material is divided into clear steps that can be immediately applied in flashcards and conversation practice.

Why is this skill important?

Daily classes affect not only the amount of knowledge, but also the regularity of classes. It is useful to work with specific actions: old cards, new words, phrases, pronunciation, pairs, results. Measurable small steps are easier to repeat every day.

  • Old cards
  • New words
  • Phrases
  • Pronunciation
  • Couples

Practical examples

  • five minutes repetition
  • five minutes of new material
  • five minutes of practice

Pick one example and do it today. There is no need to change the entire training system at the same time: a sustainable result is created by successive small improvements.

Step by step plan

  1. Set one goal for the week.
  2. Prepare a short set of cards.
  3. Add listening and repeating out loud.
  4. Mark errors, not just correct answers.
  5. At the end of the week, review the material without prompts.

How to measure progress

The number of pages viewed does not show real knowledge. Check if you can recognize the word by ear, remember the translation, pronounce the phrase and use it in a new situation. Difficult elements should be returned to classes more often than easy ones.

What interferes with regularity?

Too much of a daily plan quickly becomes overwhelming. Save a minimal version of the activity for a busy day: five cards, one phrase, and a short review. After a break, don’t try to catch up on everything at once - start with the material you already know.

Pin material in Wordly

Open the simulator, select the language you are learning and the appropriate topic. Use the word cards, phrases, and pairings exercise, and then return to the material every other day.
